Mr Lee, who was a teacher for 16 years, is now the CEO of SimTech.
He has learnt swimming for three months. They have lived here since 2003.
若把 was 轉成 has been,豈非說他現在仍是老師?
"He has learnt swimming for three months" sounds a bit weird to me, although I am sure it's grammatically correct. I would use the present perfect continuous here because the action verb "learn" implies an instanteous action and not a continuous action. "They have lived here since/for......." is fine with me.
