早前在文稿中寫了這句:
He hopes to find a job on the local newspaper.
同事甲看見,替栗改為:
He hopes to find a job at a local newspaper.
栗當然不服氣,於是翻字典,見到這句:
She hopes to get a job on the local newspaper and eventually work for 'The Time'.
我不過將 get a job 改為 find a job,不會影響到句子後半段吧?莫非字典有錯?

提到字典會否出錯,栗想起之前跟友人爭論 for good 的意思時,他說牛津舊版字典有 finally 一解。不過我查最新版的牛津字典時,只餘下 permanently (永久) 一項。到底是字典出錯,還是 finally 這項,被時間洪流沖掉?
